A master craftsman with 35 years’ experience in the groundworks, retaining walls and slope stabilisation. Barry is a carpenter by trade and excels at “bill of materials” and can quickly and accurately estimate exact material quantities for your project. Having worked in the United States and Maryborough Wine Region of Australia where Barry also learned to plaster using natural lime. In his spare time, Barry is a Beekeeper with a numerous hives around East Cork.
A hidden treasure in the old-world craft of Stone Masonry with 40 years’ experience. A native of Carrignavar, Joe propped up the front row of the Dolphin scrum during a sterling rugby career while serving his time as an apprentice mason. Joe gained further experience working in London & Boston and has a real passion for dry stone finishes which he uses in fire pits and pizza ovens made from natural stone – you could call him “stone mad”!
Landscaping since 2020, Ewen is our newest member of the team. A Cork native, Ewen is solid worker who loves the physically challenging aspect of our work. Ewen also enjoys city break travel and snowboarding in winter. He lives his trade and has real passion for landscaping and gardening. He specialises in planting and lawn sowing.
With a decade worth of experience in working with wood and stone, Luke thrives with paving, building pergola’s and decking. A County Clare native, Luke is an Irish speaker and loves the “cupla focal” with the lads on site and even with the odd customer. Luke has a particular interest in upcycled materials (such as composite decking) and sustainably sourced timber. Obviously, he loves to use Liscannor stone as much as possible to keep “the banner” flying high.
Our outdoor lighting, tv and audio expert. A 1989 graduate of Radio Telecommunications Technologies in Cork RTC, Brian brings a wealth of experience in audio and controlled lighting. With over a decades’ experience integrating KNX controlled lighting as well and as in house control systems. Our consultant ceramic artist, Fiona received a gold medal in design from City & Guilds in 2000 and then went on to study ceramics and design at the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork City receiving Honours Degree in Ceramics & Design in 2003. Fiona specialises in one off pieces which really create a focus point in your outdoor space. Ceramic sculpture, planters, tiles and ornamental ceramic pieces all complement the organic beauty found in nature which never ceases to thrill and inspire Fiona.
With over 20 years’ experience in Landscaping, Pawel is the master of the perfect lawn. Pawel is real believer in preparing the ground properly and takes great care in getting the perfect lawn seed to match the soil type. Pawel also thrives with paving and has a real eye for perfection. A native of Poland, Pawel has fallen in love with Irelands landscapes and scenery.
